Ballantrae’s Smugglers’ Festival

The week long Smugglers’ Festival at Ballantrae is now in its third year and is organised by local volunteers in the Ballantrae Development Group – one of many groups who demonstrate their support of the Biosphere by signing the Biosphere Charter. This year’s Smugglers’ Week will kick off on Sunday 16 August with a Smugglers’ Market at Craigiemains Home and Garden Centre, from 11am to 3pm with great local food and drink with tastings and characters in costume. Every day there are fun activities to enjoy including three new “Smugglers’ Trails” around Ballantrae which will be launched on Thursday 20 August.
